Problem
Event planning in India is often chaotic and disconnected. Individuals struggle to find reliable vendors, while service providers lack digital visibility and access to genuine clients. The process needs a unified, user-friendly platform that simplifies planning and fosters trust on both sides.

Solution
A dedicated platform like HappiNest has the potential to transform how people in India plan and celebrate life’s most meaningful events. By bridging the gap between individuals and service providers, HappiNest addresses the fragmented and often stressful nature of traditional event planning.
Through a dual-sided experience, HappiNest empowers users to discover verified vendors, manage budgets, and organize event details in one place while enabling vendors to showcase their work, receive bookings, and build lasting client relationships. The platform’s clean navigation, guided planning tools, and trust-focused features create a smoother, more transparent planning journey.
By centering both convenience and emotional ease, HappiNest shifts event planning from chaos to clarity offering a digital “nest” where memories can be built with confidence, collaboration, and joy.

Solutions
Working on HappiNest deepened my understanding of designing for life events that are both emotional and complex. I learned how to balance structure with empathy creating user flows that feel organized yet flexible enough for personal expression.
This project sharpened my ability to address dual personas (planners and vendors), highlighting the importance of clear navigation, inclusive design, and seamless communication tools. Through research and prototyping, I discovered how small design decisions can ease real-world stress and bring clarity to chaotic planning journeys.
Most importantly, HappiNest reminded me that great UX isn’t just about features it’s about making people feel supported, seen, and in control.
